Description

Actual title - "Avatar of Peace"

I really should make a habit of actually reading the 'preferred environments' blurb on the XChange emails, but when I saw the four-armed reference another artist had done for :iconvladimirsangel: , I couldn't unsee Christopher in a Vishnu pose with a mandala behind him. I've been on a serious Hinduism kick lately. I find the lessons of that faith very fascinating and its affected my work.

That said, I came far too close to being late with this one, due partly to being neck-deep in the Sergal update on Second Life and having to make constant runs to the store to replace/obtain certain supplies.

I'll be a few days late shipping this as i have to order new cellophane wrappers from amazon. With Prime they should ship and arrive before the end of the week. i was going to clear-coat this like I did my last aceo trade but i didnt want the clear coat muddying the shine of the holographic paper more than it already had when i sealed in the ink for the mandala (otherwise it would've smeared bad). I was originally going to use some cool distressed scrapbook paper for the background and draw the mandala on that buuuuuuuuut i couldn't find my giant pad of paper :C so i used some of this awesome holographic origami paper i found!

I hope you like it, :iconvladimirsangel: !

Oh my gosh I LOVE it.

It's just so perfect! Shows off the serene side of Christopher beautifully. And the position of the fingers and the crossed legs in the lotus...they're so elegantly done! Look how shiny it is! I can't wait to see it in reality.

Thanks so, so much for choosing to work with Christopher. :floating:
