Hip Hog Heaven Pre-Render

learning to render using Blender's new rendering engine, Cycles (not really new, but its still fairly recent).

This is a quick render, just for prosperity sake. I'll scrap it eventually, but i'm pretty proud of those puddles, I must admit. The pink square will eventually be a transparent texture that says 'Hip Hog' in precursor like the game, but i haven't figured out how to make it an emission face as well as be a transparent texture. so for now its a palceholder.

This marks the first time i've ever attempted to model anything but inorganics. I've still got ALOT to change, and you can see that I haven't modeled in water, the tower on the left, or the sky/searchlights.
I'll also be adding in little details like advertisements, some stray powerlines, ect.

I'm basing this off my speedpaint, 'yet alone'.

Can't wait to have the full render ready to show off

Edit: Rerendered the scene last night after copypasting the warehouse/garage thing (Might make another building just to mix things up a little). changed the angle and fov on the camera, tweaked the water puddles a bit, made the door red to match the matte painting, and add the tower to the left as well as added more lightsources. jacked up the samples to 750(though the image is still really grainy.. I need to figure out why. i'm assuming it has something to do with my materials.) upped the resolution to 1080p.

Ignore the giant blue-white triangle thing at the top. that wasn't supposed to be there but this is a WIP. so eh.

I also added water to the bay area off to the bottom left corner, and while it renders just fine in the speed render window, it doesn't want to seem to show the ripples so the water looks really really odd. Still working on that.
